A mesh of fine light strands that drapes over whatever shape you put it on. Starmesh is the fastest way to light a hedge, a shrub or a low wall — no wrapping, just lay it over.

Choose your panel size

1.5 × 1.5 m suits a single shrub. 2 × 2 m and 2 × 3 m are for a hedge run or a low wall. 3 × 3 m and the 6 m panels are for large shrubs, marquees and venue work.

Styling ideas

Lay it over a hedge, drape it across a shrub, fix it to a wall or a fence panel, or use it as a backdrop behind a bar. Two panels link end to end for a longer run.

Before you order

Measure the area you want to cover, not the height of the plant — the mesh needs to sit on the surface. Check where the plug will reach.

Setting up

1. Check the plug and reach. Confirm the plug type matches your outlet and that the cable reaches your fixing point.
2. Fix the light in place. Use clips, hooks or ties on the structure — fixings are not included — and keep the run clear of doors and walkways.
3. Switch on and set the mode. Power on, then use the switch to pick the mode.

Care and safety

Decorative lighting, not a toy and not task lighting. Keep plugs, adapters and battery boxes out of standing water and away from damp sockets; the light strings themselves are weatherproof for outdoor use in the listed specification. Unplug or switch off before moving or cleaning, and check the cable for damage at the start of each season. Keep out of reach of children under three.

Is this the right light for you?

Choose it if:

Frequently asked questions

Are fixings included?

No. Plan for clips, hooks or cable ties. Use removable hooks on painted walls, suction cups on glass and screw hooks on timber.

Will it survive rain and frost?

The strand is rated to the IP value above. Frost is fine; standing water and submerged connectors are not.

How do I fix a net light in place?

Spread the fixing points around the rim — cable ties on a hedge, hooks or clips on a wall, suction cups on glass. Pulling from one corner makes the net sag out of shape.
