Frostfall hangs like light freezing mid-drip. A single top bar carries strands of different lengths, so the cascade reads as icicles rather than a flat curtain of light.

Choose your length and colour

Shorter drops suit porch fascias, window heads and balcony railings. The wider 3 m drop version is the one to pick when you are covering a gable, a shop front or a full pergola edge. Warm white is the safe seasonal choice; cool white reads crisper against snow and blue-hour skies; multi-colour is the party option.

Styling ideas

Run it along the front edge of a porch roof, across a pergola beam, above a window, or along a balcony railing. Layer a second run behind it at a different height to add depth to a facade.

Before you order

Measure the full run you want to cover, including corners, and check where power will come from. Longer runs may need an adapter or a higher-voltage supply — ask us before ordering if you are planning more than one bar end to end.

Setting up

1. Check the plug and reach. Confirm the plug type matches your outlet and that the cable reaches your fixing point.
2. Fix the light in place. Use clips, hooks or ties on the structure — fixings are not included — and keep the run clear of doors and walkways.
3. Switch on and set the mode. Power on, then use the switch to pick the mode.

Care and safety

Decorative lighting, not a toy and not task lighting. Keep plugs, adapters and battery boxes out of standing water and away from damp sockets; the light strings themselves are weatherproof for outdoor use in the listed specification. Unplug or switch off before moving or cleaning, and check the cable for damage at the start of each season. Keep out of reach of children under three.

Is this the right light for you?

Frequently asked questions

Are fixings included?

No. Plan for clips, hooks or cable ties. Use removable hooks on painted walls, suction cups on glass and screw hooks on timber.

Will it survive rain and frost?

The strand is rated to the IP value above. Frost is fine; standing water and submerged connectors are not.

How high should an icicle bar hang?

About 2.1–2.4 m on a porch fascia so people can walk under it, or 5–10 cm above a window head so the drops fall across the glass rather than over the wall.
