Icicle & Cascade Lights

In one line: icicle lights hang from a horizontal bar so mixed-length strands fall in vertical drops — the effect reads best from the front edge of a roof, a fascia or a window head.

Every set here uses a single top bar with strands of different lengths, which is what separates an icicle look from a flat curtain of light. Bars run from 4 m to 5 m; the 96-head version is the one for a long fascia.

What to check before you buy

• The fixing line. Hang from an edge, not flat against a wall — strands collapse against a wall and the icicle shape disappears.
• Clearance. 2.1–2.4 m above a walkway, or 5–10 cm above a window frame.
• Power. Mains for all-evening use; battery versions dim over a long evening.
