Choose your leaf and panel

Willow reads lighter and more delicate; pothos is fuller and greener. The 1 m drop suits a window head or a shelf line, the 2 m drop is for a balcony wall, a stair rail or a doorway.

Styling ideas

Hang down a balcony wall, drape over a window frame, run along a stair rail, or use it as a soft backdrop behind a bed. The leaf shapes stay legible in daylight, so it works unlit too.

Before you order

Measure the drop you want and check that a USB power source is within reach. The remote version needs line of sight to the receiver.

Setting up

1. Connect the USB lead. Plug the supplied lead into a USB port or adapter — no adapter is included unless listed.
2. Fix the light in place. Use clips, hooks or ties on the structure — fixings are not included — and keep the run clear of doors and walkways.
3. Switch on and set the mode. Power on, then use the switch to pick the mode.

Care and safety

Decorative lighting, not a toy and not task lighting. Keep plugs, adapters and battery boxes out of standing water and away from damp sockets; the light strings themselves are weatherproof for outdoor use in the listed specification. Unplug or switch off before moving or cleaning, and check the cable for damage at the start of each season. Keep out of reach of children under three.

Frequently asked questions

Are fixings included?

No. Plan for clips, hooks or cable ties. Use removable hooks on painted walls, suction cups on glass and screw hooks on timber.

Will it survive rain and frost?

The strand is rated to the IP value above. Frost is fine; standing water and submerged connectors are not.

How do I stop curtain strands tangling?

Hang the bar level, keep the strands hanging free rather than bunched, and untangle from the bottom up before you switch on. Coil loosely for storage.
