Small clusters of light on a fine copper wire, hung in a row like a string of firecrackers. It is the piece to hang down a doorway or drop into a tree when a plain strand feels too quiet.

Choose your run

1.5 m and 3 m suit a doorway, a hook or a mantel. 6 m and 9 m are for a tree or a stair rail. 20 m runs a long wall, a shop front or a courtyard line.

Styling ideas

Hang a short run down a doorway, thread a longer one through a tree, or run it along a fence in a courtyard. The copper wire holds whatever shape you bend it into.

Before you order

Pick the battery version if the piece will hang outdoors without a USB source nearby. Measure the drop first — a doorway run is shorter than it looks.

Setting up

1. Connect the power. Choose the battery box, USB lead or mains plug for your setup, then switch it on.
2. Fix the light in place. Use clips, hooks or ties on the structure — fixings are not included — and keep the run clear of doors and walkways.
3. Switch on and set the mode. Power on, then use the switch to pick the mode.

Care and safety

Decorative lighting, not a toy and not task lighting. Keep plugs, adapters and battery boxes out of standing water and away from damp sockets; the light strings themselves are weatherproof for outdoor use in the listed specification. Unplug or switch off before moving or cleaning, and check the cable for damage at the start of each season. Keep out of reach of children under three.

Frequently asked questions

Are fixings included?

No. Plan for clips, hooks or cable ties. Use removable hooks on painted walls, suction cups on glass and screw hooks on timber.

Will it survive rain and frost?

The strand is rated to the IP value above. Frost is fine; standing water and submerged connectors are not.

Can I shorten or extend the run?

Runs are manufactured to length and should not be cut. To cover more distance, use a second run — and check the maximum linked length for the product before chaining them.
